led “Blue House” of Hanna Bekker from the Rath in Hofheim am Taunus\, Mari
an Stein-Steinfeld was able to personally encounter many artists such as K
arl Schmidt-Rottluff\, Emy Roeder and Ida Kerkovius. After studying and wo
rking for ten years in Frankfurter Kunstkabinett at Börsenplatz\, Marian S
tein-Steinfeld decided to work as a freelance artist and participated in t
he conception of the Stadtmuseum Hofheim\, where she also curated numerous
exhibitions. As a research assistant\, she worked several times for the W
iesbaden Museum\, which today houses a large part of the extensive Hanna B
ekker vom Rath collection. Most recently she wrote the biography of Hanna
Bekker vom Rath as an “Agent for art and artists”. As director of the priv
ate archive Hanna Bekker vom Rath\, she continues to look after her estate
